James N. Sullivan
President, The O’Connell Companies; President, O’Connell Development Group; Managing Partner, New England Fertilizer Company
Mr. Sullivan has been with The O’Connell Companies since beginning his professional career in 1982. He was appointed President of The O’Connell Companies in January 2019 and is responsible for the successful management and strategic direction of The O’Connell Companies and its subsidiaries, including two construction companies, real estate development and property management divisions, and a biosolids management company. Mr. Sullivan is the President of O’Connell Development Group (ODG) and is responsible for the successful management and strategic direction of our development company and its subsidiaries. These responsibilities include real estate development, commercial property acquisitions and divestitures, property and asset management services, and energy management services. He also serves as managing partner of ODG subsidiary New England Fertilizer Company (NEFCO), a trusted leader in the biosolids management industry across North America.
Mr. Sullivan earned a Bachelor of Science in finance from the University of Massachusetts and a Master of Science in finance from Western New England College. He is the former Chairman of the Holyoke Boys & Girls’ Club and serves on the organization’s executive and finance committees. In addition, Mr. Sullivan previously served on the board of directors of AGC of Massachusetts and its risk management and bonding subcommittees. He also previously served on the Board of Trustees for the Sisters of Providence Health System.
Joanne M. Beauregard
Financial Vice President/Treasurer, The O’Connell Companies
Ms. Beauregard has overall responsibility and direction of The O’Connell Companies and its subsidiaries’ financial management and cash management, information systems, taxation, and audits. Ms. Beauregard is also involved with financing, leasing, insurance, and line of credit transactions for the company and its subsidiaries. In addition, Ms. Beauregard oversees major employee benefit programs and is responsible for asset management of all Company real estate. Prior to her current position, Ms. Beauregard served as Controller of O’Connell Development Group Inc. since 1987.
Ms. Beauregard holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Western New England College and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Hartford. Ms. Beauregard is the former Treasurer and Trustee of Providence Ministries Network Services, serving on its Executive and Finance Committees. Ms. Beauregard is also a former Trustee, Chair and Finance Chair of the Sisters of Providence Health System, owner of Mercy Hospital, Providence Behavioral Health Hospital and Brightside for Children. She was also a member of the Board of Directors and Treasurer of the Holyoke Children’s Museum.
Nate Clinard
Vice President of Corporate Safety, The O’Connell Companies
Mr. Clinard joined the company in 2012 as Vice President of Corporate Safety bringing more than 28 years of experience in Construction Safety and General Industry Safety. He is responsible for all corporate safety programs and initiatives in multiple industries, states and environments. He is experienced in the design and implementation of best practice safety programs and building and sustaining strong safety cultures.
Prior to joining the company, Mr. Clinard worked in both the manufacturing and electric utility companies overseeing large scale safety programs of power stations and construction activities. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Safety Studies from Keene State College and is a member of multiple OSHA and Safety organizations.
